Danielle Balian, DVM
Dr. Balian was born and raised in Pasadena, California. She has always been passionate about biology and field research, and received her Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. After two years of working in a small animal private practice, she knew her true calling in life was to help animals and their humans live as many happy, healthy days together as possible. She moved to Glendale, Arizona, to pursue her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Midwestern University. She then moved right back to her home of sunny California to start her career in veterinary medicine. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, dermatology, and expanding on her surgical skills.
In her free time, Dr. Balian enjoys exploring local hiking trails, finding her center through yoga, discovering good local vegetarian food, and snuggling with her corgi, Eevee, and her two fluffy felines, Oliver and Archie. She speaks fluent Armenian.
