Alma

Alma groomed her first dog when she was just 12 years old, and after that, she was hooked.  She found a school that was taught by an award-winning groomer, Marcia Hill and learned the proper way to groom both dogs and cats. She spent 15 years competing in grooming competitions and acquired over 20 awards.  Alma has been grooming for 35 years, loves her profession and takes pride in what she does. She loves the challenge of taking a dog or cat that has been turned away from another groomer, has been abused, or is just a young animal that has never been groomed, and transforming them inside and out by building that relationship of trust. She feels every pet is unique and tries to learn and listen to the individual needs of each pet.  Alma has two dogs, a Chocolate Lab and a Jack Russell Terrier, and two unique cats, a Bambino, and a Sphynx.  Alma has four adorable grandbabies and enjoys spending as much time a s possible with them. She also enjoys traveling, camping, and going to her river house with her husband. We are so thankful to have such an amazing groomer as part of our team, she really is the dog whisperer!
