Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Appointments are usually made Mon- Fri. between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:30 pm and can vary depending upon the day’s surgery schedule. We are also open, for your convenience, on Saturday morning for appointments and Saturday afternoon for our walk in vaccination and exam clinic. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests, including an appointment with a veterinarian of your choice, to the best of our ability. We strive to keep your waiting time to a minimum as we recognize your time is valuable. However, emergencies do arise in our hospital and we ask for your patience if there is delay during your appointment, due to a patient requiring immediate care. We will always inform you of any changes ahead of time.
If you are unable to keep your appointment please inform the receptionist as soon as possible. Please give us at least 24-hour notice if you wish to change a scheduled dental or surgery.
Emergency & Urgent Care
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. We have veterinarians who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such a rat bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency. We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life threatening, but when you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our veterinarians will work to "squeeze" you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait or the cost in order to be seen.
